After the last update.. The app doesnt work anymore

This update still freezes on the main screen when loaded iPhone 5 iOS 9.2.1

Seems a lot of people cant get on, but it seems fine for me.

Opens now but nothing shows up.

Much better than Facebook, Twitter, Snapcrap, whatever because it is easy to meet and connect with people around the world.

Good job ruining a great app with currency. This was a awesome app that used to connect me with a wide array of individuals all over the world. I learned some amazing and interesting things from so many people and now..you ruined it with Cookies-to-talk. Only people who purchase cookies are now the most seen and medal earning people. You just made an elitist 9CHAT. Now you have to send cookies to comment and chat...such a horrible concept. Great job..sure we get cookies everyday as rewards but come on....you could have treated something more better.

Censors people unnecessarily and tries to charge for up votes as if this was call of duty and we were 12.

Idk what these other two reviews are talking about. Im new to this n have seen one or two updates.. It is free. I havent spent any money. Yes sometimes you have to spend the cookies they give you DAILY to comment on something SOMETIMES if the post is "hot" or popular, trending whatever the heck you wana call it. But I enjoy it. Bickering back and forth with people, sarcasm, laughs. Its fun to me. I actually like the new update. I can actually just make a post not in one of the rooms/groups. Its neat bc before you had to pick a group. At least on my phone anyway. Havent tried it on a pc.

Hey, I have a strong wifi but this app isnt letting me post. Sure I can post from time to time, but more often than not, I cant post. Fix this or its staying 2 stars or maybe lower.

You get banned for no reason and without a war it so bad moderation . People usually post nekkid pictures , lots of fake profiles , the app lags a lot while loading profiles, no visible mods that would give you a 3 strike rules, lots of creepy messages full your inbox etc . Worst of all, they charge for cookies and you need to donate 4 cookies per comment 0_o yeah not gonna happen . Sticking with 9gag and 9chat is just a fail version

Dont download this App

The new update made the app very, very slow. The new update introduced a new system for cookies that makes it so you only get 20 a day. The app has forced me to give 4 cookies away if I want to complement someone or 2 cookies (per comment) just to comment after commenting ~10 times on various posts. They placed the give cookies button in the lower right hand corner making it so you might give someone cookies you didnt want to give. Ive done that 4 times now. There is a chat quota (on a chat app?) The new update really screwed a lot of things up and many people have left the app. I have also gotten posts from groups I havent followed on "my feed". Bans: they have banned many people for no reason at all, this has lead to them leaving or creating a new account. All in all it was good, now 9chat shot themselves in the foot with the new update.

Was great while it lasted. A really nice social app. Then they implemented this cookie system. An in-app currency used to send cookies to and receive from other members. They serve no purpose but to enable you to comment on popular posts. Once a post becomes popular, you need to use your cookie currency to comment. If you run out of cookies, too bad. You cannot comment on popular posts, unless you purchase cookies. The whole social aspect of the app has been thrown out the window and all focus has gone to making sure the cookie system is functional for profit. They even go ahead and change the app name to cookies. Was this their plan the whole time? A bait and switch scheme? You can honestly still get by and use the app without too much concern for cookies. BUT. Ever since the cookies came aboard, the app has slowly been losing functionality. You can no longer down vote a post, there are no time stamps to posts and comments, chat requests are limited, just to name a few features that are key requirements to any social app. Rather charge us for the app than ruin it to try implement a system for profit. 5/5 before cookies. 2/5 for current version. 1 star cuz I can still use the app without cookies. Another cuz I still enjoy the socialism and 9chat community.
